2011 OOB TOWN ELECTION
Incumbent Sharri MacDonald and
Michael Coleman were chosen on Tuesday, November 8th by voters to serve
on the Old Orchard Beach Town Council. They topped a field of five
candidates. Voters favored expanding the council from five to seven
members and instituting a seven-year term limit. Voters also approved a
$2 million bond for the expansion of Edna Belle Libby Memorial Library.
Old Orchard Beach voters joined Saco residents in support of cost
sharing revisions in Regional School Unit 23.
